Introduction

I am a scientific collaborator at the LSFB-Lab. I was awarded a postdoctoral grant by the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.-FNRS) in order to study reformulation structures produced by LSFB (French Belgian Sign Language) - French interpreters.  At present, I am on leave and work as a postdoctoral research at Pompeu Fabra University within the LSC Lab.

I received my PhD from the Université de Namur in 2017. My thesis investigated discourse markers in LSFB and LSC (Catalan Sign Language). During the same period, I collaborated in the development of the LSFB Corpus project. In 2018, I lectured on Deaf culture and on sign language linguistics applied to interpreting at Université Saint-Louis-Bruxelles and Université catholique de Louvain before starting a post-doctoral position at Stockholms universiteit (2018-2021).

From the beginning of my research career, I have focused on discourse analysis from a contrastive perspective. I have studied signed productions of LSFB and LSC deaf signers and spoken productions of French hearing speakers. At present, I am investigating different aspects of discourse produced by visual sign language interpreters (having LSFB or LSC in their language pair) and tactile sign language interpreters (having STS (Swedish Sign Language) in their language pair).
