Study of cell responses to mitochondrial dysfunction: implications in the maintenance of mitochondrial biogenesis and apoptosis

Project: PHD

Project Details

Description

The study of mitobiogenesis in mtDNA-depleted cells will be done by 1) the investigation of the CaMKIV-CREB pathway as well as the determination of other transcription factors and co-activators 2) the study of mtCLIC in the generation of mitochondrial membrane potential and 3) the analysis of mtHSP70 phosphorylation in mitochondrial protein import.
