Microarray for simultaneus identification of molecular markers of bacteria species and determinants of antibiotic resistances

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

In Hospitals, multi-resistant bacteria highly affect the patients mortality and morbidity, in spite of the wide range of antibiotics available. By the use of conventional technics, diagnosis of these infections is too slow. The project aims to develop a fast process to identify by a molecular based method (biochips) the bacteria species involved in these infections and resistance determinants.
