Introduction
Martin Evrard is a pHD Student in physics at the "Laboratoire d'Analyse par Réactions nucléaires". His main field of research is the computer simulation of metal deposition in gas phase on complex objetc.
He started a bachelor in Physics at the University of Namur in 2009. During 2012, he did another bachelor in mathematics at the University of Namur. After that he was interested by the cosmology and high energy physics and started a Master in Particles physics and cosmology at the UCL. During this period, he perfected himself in informatic and computer simulations and ended his mater thesis in cosmology concerning the research on the model of Dark energy called quintessence.
Martin started his pHD at the University of Namur in plasma physics with the Pr Stéhane Lucas in 2015. His research consist in the prediction of the thickness uniformity of metal layers obtained by magnetron sputtering on complex shapes in motion. This prediction is made by computer simulation, for that, he develop an amount of intelligens algorithms which predict the atoms trajectories in a deposition chamber and simulate de deposition process on the moving substrates.
