Abstract

The invention relates to a method for determining, whether a cell of interest is resistant to an active substance to which it is exposed, e.g. during cancer chemotherapy. The method comprises the quantitative analysis of the expression of at least 5 ABC transporter genes within a sample, treated in the same manner using a DNA micro-array.
