A tunable diode laser spectrometer was used to perform measurements of half-widths and intensities of several rotational lines in v -band of ammonia. The intensity measurements of 16 lines of NH allowed us to estimate v -band strength of this molecule at 298 K to be S =(550±10) cm -atm .
