Abstract
The intermolecular potential of Smith et al has been used in two semi-classical impact theories to calculate the Ar-broadening coefficients of OCS spectral lines at 296 K for |m|≤60. Different sets of values for the potential parameters have been determined by fitting the calculated results to experimental data.
