Project Details
Description
The project aims at characterizing wideband electromagnetic wave absorbing composite materials based on carbon onions. Onion-like carbon material produced by thermal annealing of nanodiamonds are used as the absorbing particles to be embedded in a polymer matrix. All the starting materials (nanodiamonds, onion-like carbons) together with the composite layers are characterized by a large variety of techniques.
