Project Details
Description
The research project is aiming at the preparation and extensive characterization of luminescent materials in which suitably designed organic (e.g., pi-conjugated oligomers with oligophenylenevinylene backbones and perylene dyes) and inorganic (e.g., rare earth, Tb(III), Eu(III) and Er(III) complexes) luminophores are encapsulated within nano-containers, such as carbon nanotubes, where they could preserve and even improve their emission output.
