Application of doubly resonant sum-frequency generation spectroscopy to biomolecules: study of the mechanism of electrochemical transportation in membranes and of the protein conformation during a biological cycle

Project: Research

Description

Two-colour sum frequency generation spectroscopy and imaging are used in order to characterize the vibrational and electronic properties and the molecular recognition processes in biological environment and on nanostructured arrays. The measurements are performed ex situ an in situ, with or without electrochemical control.
