Chatbots are trendy. But more than that, they are able to hold a conversation with human beings in order to help them understanding an issue, answering many of their questions or even take actions for them. This technology allows companies to offer a 24/7 service and to enhance the customer experience. The current progress of technology and the increase in popularity of Artificial Intelligence make the rise of chatbots on many websites or devices possible. However, people are sometimes misinformed about what the technology can actually offer. Therefore, it is important to know what people expect and what can be done technologically. The objective of this work is to provide insights into users' requirements and expectations and what is technologically possible to see if there is a gap between those expectations and the technology available.
