Résumé
The dynamic nature of the business world shows the continuous pressure to reduce expenses, increase revenues, and remain competitive. This calls for a rapid reaction to the market trends, a rapid handling of user needs, and a rapid understanding of forthcoming challenges. To support businesses in the process of reaching these goals, Web services need to be self-aware of the environment in which they operate and self-healing so they can recover to normal levels of operation after disturbances.
Context-aware Web services result in handing the features of the environment in which the Web services are to be executed. These features can be about users, their level of expertise, computing resources, etc. Self-healing Web services results in deploying Web services that adapt to the continuous changes in the environment.
