This contribution gives an overview of the current state of German language education in primary and secondary education in the Belgian parts of the Grande Région. Special attention is paid to the situation in the Belgian provinces of Liège and Luxembourg. The quantitative data in this contribution are commented on against the background of a synthesis of the language-in-education policy of the French-speaking Community of Belgium.
