Résumé
The internal mammary artery is considered the best available conduit for coronary artery bypass surgery.1 Indeed, the incidence of atherosclerosis of mammary arteries is much lower than that of coronary arteries;2 a routine angiographic evaluation before coronary artery bypass surgery is considered useless by most cardiac surgeons. We report a case of left internal mammary artery occlusion diagnosed on a routine angiogram 15 years after a left total mastectomy and radiotherapy for breast cancer.
