Abstract

In this master's thesis, 6 different languages using in Requirement Engineering are explored. They are KAOS, iStar, Tropos, Z Notation, BPMN and UML. Introduction introduces briefly what is the Requirements Engineering and the possible models and requirements types that exist. For each language, a complete description of the approach, the graphic elements and models and application areas with pro and cons are developed. Conclusion evokes some recommandations and tips, destined to business analysts, about the 6 models in order to help them to chose the right one at the right moment.
