This thesis focuses on the standardisation of procedures within companies, as well as the integration of these standards into business processes and the business process management (BPM). This dimension is of particular importance in the context of company mergers or acquisitions. Often, the companies involved find themselves forced to comply with each other, which leads to a standardisation of operations. While the literature often highlights the positive aspects of the standardisation, the negative aspects remain little explored. To address this gap, this work introduces a decision-support tool designed to evaluate the costs and losses associated with standardisation during mergers or acquisitions. To assess the relevance and applicability of the tool, a case study was carried out using a simplified Delphi method with expert feedback.
