In this thesis, we will mainly deal with the topics of structural analysis and graph visualization. After a presentation of the literature concerning the readability and comprehension of graphs, we will discuss the study carried out with the aim of knowing how graphical tools (colours, positions and shapes of the elements constituting the graphs) influence the interpretation of graphs by the readers and if these tools can be used to support structural analysis.
