We begin by introducing the notions of fixed point, orbit, bifurcation diagram, attractor, exponent of Lyapounov and chaos to "set the scene" for dynamical systems.
Then, we explain two methods of communication using chaos based cryptography.
We continue with the implementation and training of a reservoir computer to emulate a dynamical system.
Finally, we show how this reservoir manages to decrypt a message transmited by the above-mentioned communications.
