University-Industry collaborative research projects: nature and influence of knowledge flows

Abstract

In this research paper, we want to examine the knowledge processes occurring in one particular knowledge interaction, the U-I collaborative research project. The nature, direction and intensity of knowledge flows between partners will be studied, looking at their impacts on both partners but also on public knowledge diffusion. This paper presents our literature analysis concerning this research topic as well as preliminary results of interviews that have been realized with respondents actively involved in U-I interactions.
