Abstract

This paper, which goes together with the speech over « Mental health of (candidate) workers or when the psychic illness becomes a source of discrimination », aims at scrutinizing three important topics. Firstly, one will define the notion of "psychic disability" and what makes it different from "mental disability". Secondly, authors try to determine whether there are groups of individuals, circumstances or jobs that could be considered "at risk" and for whom/which the probability of occurrence of psychic disabilities would be higher. Finally, the third party is devoted to the social protection of the psychic disabled and more precisely to work accidents, occupational diseases and unemployment insurance.
