Abstract

Biostatistics handle digital observations made on the living. The reference to a model such as the Gaussian on which this article focuses, represents for our target public an epistemological obstacle related to its inability to mathematical modelling. The graphical representations developed on our Web site still remain inaccessible. Conceptual appropriation is allowed by the measurement of objects and the transfer of real data from a spreadsheet into an actual histogram. This practical approach was made possible by the release of instructional time, inherent in the relocation of part of the learning process to digital device
