    Abstract

One of the objectives of the ONCE project is the involvement of children in the process of compiling a list of good sites, i.e. sites that contain educational or positive recreational materials and the comprehension of the criteria they used when visiting web sites. What is good or bad according to their mind' What kind of words, criteria, do they use to describe a web site.

In order to do so, the Belgian partners of the ONCE project went to 7 French-speaking Belgian schools and, notably, ask to children and students "What kind of web site do you visit'".

Back to the University, the researchers have analysed the content of the answers to the 4th question in order to construct the database of 'kewl sites' that was expected (see deliverable 3.2) as well as the elements of the Repertory grid, a method used in psychology, in order to identify the criteria as expressed by children.
