Abstract
According to the texts of the temple of Dendera, Hathor is not only the daughter of Re but also of Nun and Irta. This genealogy gets its full significance in the context of the fertility of the country and the production of nourishment. In this way, Hathor becomes responsible of life after the creation of the world by her father
