    Abstract

    The HeI and HeII photoelectron spectra of 3,7-diphenyl-and 3,7-bis(dimethylamino)-1,5-dithia-2,4,6,8-tetrazocines are reported. Experimental results are in qualitative agreement with previously reported STO-3G and STO-3G + 5D calculations. An analysis of the spectral features confirms the predicted difference in the nature of the HOMO for the two compounds.
