Abstract

Chromophoric acetylenic scaffolds bearing complementary uracyl and 2,6-di(acetylamino)pyridyl moieties undergo supramolecular recognition and generate uniform nanoparticles, as observed by UV-Vis, AFM and TEM measurements. © 2009 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
