    Abstract

O- and N-broadening coefficients for a number of acetylene lines in the P and R branches of the ν band have been measured at room temperature with a tunable diode laser spectrometer. From these results, air-broadening coefficients have been deduced, using the additivity property of the broadening coefficient.
