Abstract
The system of personal pronouns in the Signed Language of Wallonia (LSFB) leads to move the enunciative centre from 'je' to 'tu'. This observation sustains the theory of illocution proposed by Coursil (2000). It also implies the status of person usually associated to the pronoun 'tu' and, conversely, the 'non personal' nature that Benveniste (1966) associates to the pronoun 'il', to be reconsidered. The hypothesis is made of the existence of a person neutralization form, in LSFB as, analogically, in French. This hypothesis leads to revisit the structure of free indirect speech.
