Abstract
The authors regret an error in the numerical values of compressive stresses given at page 9 in the manuscript. The correct values for the compressive stresses of Ti0.38Al0.62N, Ti0.46Al0.54N and Ti0.58Al0.42N coatings are respectively 4.33 ± 0.07 GPa, 4.69 ± 0.16 GPa and 4.52 ± 0.10 GPa.
These results do not affect the conclusions of the paper.
