Abstract
I hope that we will be able to continue the work that was started in the WARCnet network in the context of a new research framework in Europe, and beyond, thereby helping to promote the value of web archives for research. As an historian, I already look forward to the first comparative transnational historical studies based (partly) on archived web content that will appear in the coming decades.
