Abstract
Les systèmes de production caprins au Nord du Maroc et en Andalousie ont fait l'objet d'une analyse comparative à l'aide d'indicateurs technico-économiques FAO-CIHEAM. Ce travail a été réalisé dans le cadre des projets Interreg III (plus précisément le projet PCIAAM sur les caprins) entre l'Espagne et le Maroc. L'analyse comparative a porté sur les effectifs, la production laitière et celle de viande, la structure des élevages, la productivité ainsi que les marges nettes générées. Enfin, une analyse des contraintes freinant le développement du secteur et les domaines de coopération potentiels entre les deux régions est présentée.
A comparative analysis of goat production systems in Andalusia and Northern Morocco was conducted using the FAO-CIHEAM technical and economic indicators. In the North of Morocco, this research was conducted with the support of the Andalusia - Morocco Interreg III project PCIAAM. The analysis was based on structural, operational and performance data collected on farms in both regions. In the study, margins generated by goat in both regions were compared. Constraints facing the development of goat husbandry are outlined and recommendations regarding potential areas for collaboration between the two regions in the goat sector are suggested at the end of the paper.
