    Abstract

    The activity discussed in this paper suggests to integrate handlings for the study of proportionality and to confront a proportional situation to another non-proportional. The engineering suggested hopes not only to improve the learning of this subject and that, on the long view, but also to have a positive contribution to students’ thinking about questions mobilizing mainly common sense. The complete experimental protocol (pre-test, post-tests, learning sequences, control-classes and test-classes) and first results are developed in this paper.
