Abstract

The objective of this report is to provide information about the Brazilian legal framework on privacy and data protection and to compare it with the legal standards established by Convention 108, especially with regards to the scope of the Convention and possible status under Brazilian Law, data quality obligations and sensitive data, data security, rights of data subjects, transborder data flows, supervisory authorities and enforcement.
