Description
The aim of this project is to produce a reference
text covering trust-region methods for nonlinear
optimisation. This class of methods has been
described for 50 years and is amongst the most
robust and efficient. However, it is only
coverered and analyzed in scattered papers, hence
the need of a comprehensive and structured
reference text.
The resulting book is published by SIAM in 2000.
