Tumoral angiogenesis imaged and traited by radioactive nanoclusters

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Conventional treatment for non small cell lung cancer consists of systemic chemotherapy, aimed to diminish the symptoms, increase quality of life and prolong survival. This treatment is only palliative. In order to target more specifically tumoral cells, new treatments are developed taking into account the abnormal biochemical and molecular pathways typical of lung cancer cells.
