Project Details
Description
Copper is the substrate of interest in this study, which has a particulary important industrial interest. A major inconvenient of this metal is its oxidizable nature and thus its tendency to corrode. Elaboration of organothiols and organoselenols SAMs on such substrates is a answer to these corrosion problems. The monolayers are characterized by contact angle measurements, XPS, PM-IRRAS in parallel of electrochemical studies (CV, SECM, SVET).
