Description
The goal is to demonstrate the proof of concept and feasability of new therapeutic intervention in order to avoid or treat the formation of subepithelial fibrosis as well as to improve respiratory function of chronic asthmatic patients. Genes that are up-regulated in fribrosis process will be identified and their expression will be knock-down by siRNA delivery to lung tissues.
