Study of vibrational properties of carbon nanotubes

Description

This project aims to determine the vibrational fingerprints of defects in carbon nanostructures such as graphene sheet (including nanoribbons) and nanotubes. The comparison of the numerical simulations and experimental results, in particular Raman spectroscopy or IETS features, will lead to the exact determination of the atomic structure of produced nanostructures.
