Project Details
Description
We developped a sputter evaporation technique allowing the synthesis of thick Li metallic coatings (up to 150 µm).
Deposition rates as large as 2 µm/S are achieved.
Plasma parameters are studied in relation with the coating properties.
These layers are used to produce neutrons for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy and to activate compounds by thermal neutrons throurgh (p,n) reactions
