Study of the HIF-1 (hypoxia-inducible factor-1)-dependent transcriptional response according to stimulation conditions

Project: PHD

Project Details

Description

HIF-1 is a transcription factor specidically activated under hypoxia. It increases the expression of genes responsible for an adaptive response of the cells to hypoxia. Insulin also activates HIF-1, but the role of HIF-1 in this case is not known. The aim of the project is to identify HIF-1 target genes by ChIP in both conditions.
