Study of Mito-Lysosomal and Lyso-Mitochondrial Molecular Communications Triggered By Organelle Dysfunction Using Proteomic Analysis

The goal of the study is to analyze the modifications in protein expression/abundance in organelles with impaired functions in a cross-talk reaction. Indeed, we are gonna study the modifications in mitochondrial proteome in cells with imapired lysosomal function and lysosomal proteome in cells with impaired mitochondrial respiration. Signaling responsible for these modifications will also be analyzed and background of the research programme is linked to pathologies derived from abnormal organelle behavior.
