Scientific support and drafting of the new belgian electronic communications law

The project aims at providing a legal-economic assistance for the preparation of the transposition in Belgian law of the new European regulatory framework for electronic communications networks and services, including the drafting of various elements of a draft bill and its explanatory memorandum. In the analysis preparing the drafting, a special attention is given to the field of application of a law relating to electronic communications regarding the division of competences in federal Belgium and the universal service issue. This research is done in relation with the cabinet of the Minister for telecommunications and in subcontracting of the ICRI of the KUL (BIPT).
