Role of Wak1 intracellular signal transduction in Arabidopsis thaliana

Project: PHD

Project Details

Description

Whole genome sequencing of Arabidopsis thaliana has revealed more than 600 receptor-like kinases. Most of them remain orphans. One of these receptors, called WAK1, is implicated in cell elongation and defense. Here, we are identifying proteins that interact with the intracellular domain of WAK1 to charaterize the signalling transduction pathway initiated by it.
