Molecular structure of model organic films (polymers and self-assembled layers); effects of the substrate, the deposition method, annealing, ageing, radiations... studied by electron and ion spectroscopies

The research focuses on the use of electron-, photon and ion-based spectroscopies and of theoretical modeling to study the molecular structure of model organic films. Particular emphasis is laid on the control of radiation damage effects, on element traces and on the homogeneity of the layers.
