Project Details
Description
Self-assembled-monolayers from alkanethiol molecules are produced on metal surfaces. The electrochemical homogeneity is checked by SECM. The monolayer can be desorbed locally by SECM. Electrochemical and spectroscopic (XPS, PM-IRRAS) results prove the effectiveness. The goal of this work is to form mixed monolayer with active spots by adsorbing other molecules. Beside these various localized electrochemical surface characterization is done with SECM.
