The exhaustive search of a antique rural establishment comes within the scope of a wider project of the study of the old occupation of a naturel region, la Famenne. This research deals concreatly with the socio-historical problems of the continuity of the roman housing in middle age, the rural economy, the paleo-environment and requires pluridisciplinary analysis (carpology, palynology, C14, dendrochnronology).
