Intracellular trafficking of CFTR and deltaF508 CFTR

We are interested in the trafficking of the chloride chanel CFTR, which can lead to Cystic fibrosis. Our goal is to further understand the mechanisms leading to CFTR insertion in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane, its retention therein and the steps leading to its premature proteolytic degradation.
