Project Details

Description

The goal of this project is to uncover the egoistic vs. altruistic motivations of prosocial consumption, i.e. consumption that entails benefits for someone else than the consumer (e.g. fair trade products, pro-environmental products, regional products, donation). Additionally this project aims at understanding the use of prosocial products as identity signals.
