Merchandising today represents a substantial part of the income of professional soccer teams. In this research, we use a naturalistic interpretive approach in order to understand why some consumers are increasingly buying and consuming shirts, scarves or hats of their preferred colors. We also focus on the meanings and symbols of such a consumption.
