Description

The phenomenon of handicap or the one of underprivileged populations is dependent on social representations and on images carried along in a society. In this perspective, the proposed interdisciplinary research aims to analyse the way handicap has been appreciated and represented in art in the course of times, to analyse how those works were perceived by spectators.
