Functional characterization of the role of KlMig1p in glucose-mediated transcriptional repression in the yeast Kluyveromyces lactis

Project: PHD

Project Details

Description

The presence of glucose in the culture medium of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae is responsible for the transcriptional repression of a series of genes belonging to three classes (respiration, gluconeogenesis and the genes involved in the metabolism of alternatif sugars)
